These past few weeks have felt like breakthrough after breakthrough for me in this new year of 2022! I hope it has been for you as well. If not, stay hopeful because I believe it is right around the corner!
This last Wednesday morning I heard these words from Song of Solomon:
“For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.” – SOS 2:10-12
Then I heard the Lord say, “Out of season” and I knew it meant that even in this winter time in the natural, we will see spring time blossoms, fruit, and life in the spirit! In fact, just this morning, because of the unusually warm weather here in East Texas, my elephant ears and hydrangea bush are starting to bud, bloom, and grow!
I have been away from this website for over a year. I’ve considered deleting the site altogether. I steered clear because I felt disqualified, discouraged, and like nobody cared to hear what I had to say. But recently, I feel the release to get back into the swing of things. The annual Embrace conference is coming and I’m getting more excited to get back on and encourage others who are still fighting the battle. You will win the war!
I have a fresh mind, new awareness, and clear path set before me.
My friend released a word the other day and I believe it’s exactly what I’m feeling in my spirit.
“Fill your horn with oil and GO!”
Whatever you’ve put on hold, it’s time to step out and start what God has appointed you to do.
This last year was a year of healing for my family and I. Many of you may know and many may not. Our adopted son, Trenton, went back to live with his grandmother in May of 2020. It was extremely hard and something that my husband and I didn’t anticipate. It was a tearing of emotions in my soul like I’ve never known before. My heart and mind were in two different places and it’s taken until now for them to catch up to all that took place during that time. It’s something I’ll never be able to put into words or describe. But the Lord always brings beauty from ashes and if He spoke it then He has a great plan through it. I’ve always trusted that and believed that. I said to my husband from the beginning of this transition that, “We will see the fruit of this.” We just had to trust the process and follow the Holy Spirit.
During this time, our other son, Cole, began having seizures. We have changed our diet, prayed, fasted, and sought the Lord. The week of Christmas this year he had 3 seizures. This momma bear began to really dig in and put my foot down to the enemy! He will no longer steal, kill, or destroy what’s most precious to me.
A few days before Christmas I heard the Lord say to me, “You will no longer be surprised by the enemy but you will be the surprise!” WOW, I was so encouraged.
Crazy enough, the word “surprise” in the greek, in some places and translations of the Bible, is the same word used in Mark 9:18 when the Father says about his son, “it seizes him”. The greek word is katalambanÅ. In short, it means to overtake (the mind) either in a good sense or bad. Here’s the link if you want to study the greek word further. https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/g2638/kjv/tr/0-1/
I began to gather my ammunition. I knew we were on the cusp of healing. I called a deliverance minister and we prayed together. He asked me a few questions that really helped me. We prayed against word curses two days in a row. We prayed over Cole. I wrote scriptures and prayers on his bed (John 1:5) so he could war and rebuke the seizures himself.
Then my dream life opened up and the Holy Spirit showed me exactly how the seizures entered into our lives. The root was fear and I saw it enter in through something he saw. The eyes are the light to the body (Matthew 6:22). I shared the dream with Cole prayed over the fear and entrance gate of his eyes.
Time will tell but I have such a sense of peace that he is healed by the blood of Jesus! When the Holy Spirit reveals something, that is an exposure of the enemy and we have authority to take back our land and claim what’s ours. Not only that, the enemy has to repay 7x what he stole! It’s time to payback in full and I will see the fruit of my labor. It will be unusual fruit that will seem out of season this winter.
Remember that every war God wages, He will win!! Fight the good fight and continue to persevere!
